Matt is the senior user experience designer at Sightsavers, a charity that treats and prevents avoidable blindness and promotes equality for people with disabilities.
His experience spans creative disciplines including branding, digital design, and illustration.

Whether your a business owner, teacher, or creative peer, Matt continues to deliver his message of prioritising accessibility to audiences in-person and online. As part of working at Sightsavers, a member of BIMA, or as an independent consultant, he ensures the message is heard - just start!
Speaking topics include being a colourblind designer, the importance of accessibility, and running across the UK after an arthritis diagnosis.
Notable recent speaker engagements: D&AD Design Festival, Chalk Connect, The Future is ND, London College of Communication students, and Manifesto.
Design judge
Over the years Matt has sat on judging panels to judge international branding projects, national inclusive design projects, and noting the top 100 innovators in the UK digital industry.

BIMA inclusive design council (Co-chair)
Millions of people in the UK are excluded from key digital services. The Inclusive Design Council drives understanding of the importance of inclusive design, and equip individuals and organisations with the knowledge, skills and desire to design experiences for everyone.
Matt has been co-chair of the council since 2021, and helped establish the inclusive design award into the BIMA award program, as well as other notable contributions to the BIMA community.
